PneumoVen from Premier Research Labs provides a combination of natural vegetarian enzymes (as bromelain, derived from the pineapple plant), NAC (n-acetyl-l-cysteine) and a broad spectrum of selected botanical support agents that may be effective for lung support. Bromelain offers proteolytic enzymes which promote the breakdown of protein. NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) is a source of the essential amino acid, L-cysteine, and is a precursor to the important antioxidant, glutathione. Additional biocompatible botanical agents are included for optimal nutritional support.
